Passengers
to Ride for Free on New Year’s
Eve
The
Riverside Transit Agency (RTA)
will offer free rides to passengers
on New Year’s Eve.
The
annual service, which begins at
6 p.m. on all 38 •xed-routes,
is designed to support people
who work that evening, as well
as provide an alternative mode
of transportation to people who
do not want to drive or should
not drive on the holiday.
The
free rides are also RTA’s way
of saying “thank you” to its customers
for their year-round patronage
to public transportation.
As
a bonus to passengers who ride
that evening, RTA will distribute
coupons from area businesses,
including Fat Daddy’s BBQ Bistro,
Moreno Valley Flower Box, Flame
Broiler, Papa John’s Pizza and
Subway.
The
free rides will last until the
end of each bus schedule that
evening.
The
Riverside Transit Agency provides
public transportation for Western
Riverside County, operating 38
• xed routes, 5 commuter routes
and 15 demand response services.
